The Referendum Committee has put together a series of documents entitled Referendum Information Sheets.  The purpose of these sheets is to provide detailed information on issues that can not be answered with a Yes or No response.  So far 5 of these documents have been produced.  The titles and a brief description follow.  Click on the document title to view or print it:


  1. What is the general idea behind the referendum? -- A brief explanation of why we need to perform these renovations now.

  2. What happens if the referendum does not pass? -- Several facts on the current state of our schools explain where the Ringwood district will find itself if the referendum fails.

  3. Why full-day kindergarten is not part of the referendum. -- A detailed explanation of why the Ringwood school district and Ringwood taxpayers can not afford full-day kindergarten.

  4. Why we can't keep Hewitt in service? -- Several facts are provided on the Hewitt school focusing on the huge cost to repair the school.

  5. Are 5th grade students too young to be in a middle school? -- An array of benefits to the 5th grader are listed.
